Carnival Cruise One of Many Galveston Holiday Prizes

Galveston is kicking off its annual holiday season, featuring more than 1,000 events and prizes for visitors that include — among others — a Carnival Magic Balcony Cruise for four. Visitors from Galveston between November 16 to January 4 may complete a Passport of Holiday Magic that can then be submitted for entry into multiple drawings. In addition to the cruise, other prizes include a trip to Las Vegas and overnight stays in a number of Galveston-area hotels.

Some of the fun events on Galveston’s Passport to Holiday Magic include laser light shows, Christmas performances at Moody Park and at The Grand, holiday shopping in the historic district, a festival of lights and a Santa Hustle running event. The 12th annual festival of lights, which takes place on November 16, will feature Santa parachuting in from the North Pole as well as holiday-themed entertainment that includes Japanese folk art, songs and paper lanterns made by students in the Galveston Independent School District.
