Carnival Triumph – The Magic’s sister ship, the Triumph, carries 2,758 passengers plus 1,000 onboard crew members. The Triumph is a bit smaller, at 893 feet in length. Disney Cruise Lines

Disney Magic (soon to be Disney Wonder) – Disney’s cruise ship carries 2,700 passengers plus 950 onboard “Cast and Crew” members. This impressive ship measures 964 feet in length. There are dining options for the whole family, including exclusive steakhouse elegance for adults, casual deckside meals with the kids, the main dining rooms, plus scores of other eateries and 24-hour room service.

Give your own kids a once-in-a-lifetime Disney experience with original stage productions and 3-D digital movies, or the Oceaneer Club, or perhaps even a meet-and-greet with real Disney characters. ROYAL CARIBBEAN CRUISE LINES

Mariner of the Seas (will soon be Navigator of the Seas) – Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines’ ship, among the largest in the world, carries 3,114 passengers plus 1,185 onboard crew members. At 1,020 feet in length, she is impressive to say the least.

The Navigator of the Seas offers all the amenities you’d expect to find on a luxury cruise ship. There’s fine dining of every sort, ten swimming pools and whirlpools, and 16 bars, clubs, and lounges. But how many ships can boast a stories-high central promenade, a rock climbing wall, an ice skating rink, basketball and volleyball courts, or an adults-only glass atrium?
